About S.O.A.D.
Something of a Dandy is the moniker for all artwork created by Illustrator, Ashleigh Garrett Siegel. S.O.A.D. specializes in hand-drawn, colorful, and whimsical creations. These include often “punny” greeting cards, posters and prints, custom work, children’s book illustrations, and much more. All illustrations are drawn in ink then digitally colored with hand-lettered text. Ashleigh’s designs are jovial, bold, intricate, and light-hearted with an emphasis on the personal touch. She receives great pleasure knowing others are sending snail-mail reminding people they are special, important and appreciated in this world of texts and tweets. All artwork is created in her home studio in the Chicagoland area.
